HFW and Useful Words (01) These High Frequency Words (in alphabetical order) can be used as a Registration Task, as part of a lesson at home or at school, or to support spelling tests, of simply as support for literacy lessons. They could be displayed on the IWB for the whole class to compete in groups to answer questions posted by the teacher (e.g. find two words that have the letter m and i). They can be laminated or sent home to support with homework. The useful words mat includes colours, seasons, days, months, numbers and shapes. This can be used in a similar way as the HFWs. This is 1 page 300 HFWs and 1 page of useful words (on 2 x A4 pages). AND 100 Squares and Activities (02) These Hundred Squares and Activities can be used for as a Registration Task, as part of a lesson at home or at school. They could be displayed on the IWB for the whole class to complete taking turns to chose and complete a square, or given to a small group or individuals. They can be laminated for re-use or sent home for homework. This is 4 pdf pages of different 100 squares and activities. AND Tables Grids and Activities (03) These Times Tables Squares and Activities can be used for as a Registration Task, as part of a lesson at home or at school. They could be displayed on the IWB for the whole class to complete taking turns to chose and complete a square, or given to a small group or individuals. They can be laminated for re-use or sent home for homework. This is 4 pdf pages of different tables squares and activities. NOW also include additional colour 100 square, colour tables grid colour symbols with alternative descriptions (e.g. x times, groups of, multiplied by etc).
